Aspiring and accomplished chefs take great pride and investment in their knives.
Chef knives take a beating, in their everyday use. 
They shouldn’t take a beating to and from the kitchen.
 
My Chef Knife Rolls are made from a variety of cowhide leathers, most on the rustic side, which show great character. 
 
This prototype knife roll, in particular, contains quite a few character marks.
The roll measures 26” wide x 18” tall.
You’ll find a 7” w x 11” l pouch with a YKK brass zipper, nine hand saddle-stitched knife/utility slots, a business card slot and a soft, pliable leather knife cover flap.
 
Rolled up, the knife roll is secured with bridle leather straps, hand-peened copper rivets and solid copper buckles. 
Also included is a bridle leather shoulder carry strap, that attaches to brass D-rings, with solid brass trigger snaps.

Please Note: I don't use overly refined "perfect" hides in my goods.
I like real leather with "character".
Leather is a natural material from wild animals and, as such, changes from hide to hide. 
While I handle my products with the upmost care, small dents, dings, scratches, brands or blemishes may be found within the product and come from the animal's experiences from life on the range. 
If you also like leather with "character", irregularities in the leather should not be considered a fault but inherent in the natural beauty and qualities of the material.
